ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael is a music director, accompanist, director, actor and singer currently based in New York City.
Starting at the piano when he was only three years old and on the stage when he was seven, Michael's passion for music and the performing arts and eagerness to learn is what has formed his musical and theatrical education. He graduated from Bowling Green State University in May of 2021, where he music directed Ordinary Days, Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play, as well as conducing the pit for several Broadway Cares BGSU benefit cabarets. He played Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors, Eddie in The Drunken City, John Brooke in Little Women, and was the male swing for Spring Awakening with Ann Arbor in Concert. He also directed and produced the regional premier of an original play New York, 1965 by Karmann Ludwig in Toledo, OH in May 2021.

Since living in New York, Michael worked on the 2023 national tour of Into The Woods, the off-Broadway production of This Beautiful Future, and the CBS/Warner Media pilot of East New York as a COVID Safety Manager. Most recently, he served as the rehearsal accompanist for Transport Group's 2024 concert production of Stephen Sondheim's Follies. He also music directed a site-specific production of William Fynn's song cycle Elegies at Dive Bar 106 in New York's Upper West Side in Summer 2023. He has experience with immersive theatre, wrangling baby chicks, and working with children.

In his spare time, he loves learning new recipes from The Barefoot Contessa, watching a lot of Real Housewives and Vanderpump Rules, and just all things Barbra Streisand.
